From April, 4th, to August, 14th, 2016, the Decorative Arts Museum (Musée des Arts Décoratifs) will be host to “Fashion Forward”, the exhibition that will take us back in time to the brightest eras of fashion industry.

Through this significant exhibition, the Museum of Decorative Arts highlights 300 pieces that recall the key moments in the history of fashion, from the 17th century to the latest designs.
The museum's collection counts today more than 150,000 works, varying from textiles and ancient costumes, haute couture pieces, to iconic silhouettes of the ready-to-wear as well as accessories, hats and shoes.
Fashion Forward will be displaying thus a selection of the finest pieces from these collections, highlighting the most significant items and works of art through three whole centuries of fashion and design.
The Decorative Arts Museum will bring together on the occasion 300 fashion pieces, selected from the collections of the major figures in the history of couture, such Charles Frederick Worth, Jacques Doucet, Jeanne Lanvin, Chanel, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, among others.
