From May, 20th to June, 12th, 2016, Opéra Garnier will be hosting a great artistic event that will enlighten your Paris vacation, Lear, the renowned opera composed by Aribert Reinmann.
This great opera was originated from William Shakespeare’s renowned tragedy king Lear and was first performed on the 9th of July, 1978 at the National Theatre Munich.
For this new show, Palais Garnier will be offering one of the greatest opera performances under the conduction Fabio Luisi, the Grammy Award winner.
Opera enthusiasts will be offered a wonderful performance at Palais Garnier, the Parisian cultural hub that will welcome you for a whole 3 hours of art and great performance. A selection of the most renowned opera singers will perform Lear, Ricarda Merbeth, Erika Sunnegardh, and Lucas Prisor among others.
Lear will plunge you in an atmosphere of fascination and excitement through a 3 hours’ performance. The opera will be sung in German, with English and French subtitles.
