Un Art Pauvre on View at Centre Pompidou, Paris Latest blog

Located in the Beaubourg area of the 4th arrondissement of Paris, until August 29th, 2016, the Centre Pompidou invites visitors to attend Un Art Pauvre, an exhibition that throws light on the Arte Povera art movement.
Arte Povera appeared in Italy, in the late 1960s. It was named by the renowned Italian art critic Germano Celant and was developed thanks to many famous artists including Giovanni Anselmo, Alighiero Boetti, Mario Ceroli, and Pier Paolo Calzolari.
Un Art Pauvre is an occasion that allows attendees to discover more than 40 different artworks.
Sculptures, music, architecture, theatre, and cinema that best illustrate this modern art movement, are among the highlights of this exhibition.
Guests staying at our Hotel Meyerhold Opera will be within a short walking distance from the Centre Pompidou.
