Gauguin the Alchemist Latest blog

Until January 22nd, 2018, the Grand Palais des Champs Elysées, in Paris, will be exhibiting a major retrospective devoted to the internationally renowned French artist Paul Gauguin (1848-1903).

Organized by the RMN-Grand Palais, in partnership with the Art Institute of Chicago, Musée d'Orsay, and Musée de l'Orangerie, this retrospective features some 200 works which have been brought together for the first time in history.
Besides the diversity of the forms of art used by Gauguin, repetition and recurrence, which are two popular features in the work of this grand artist, are also put under the spotlight through the many amazing and various pieces on exhibition.

If you're a guest at our hotel any time between now and January 22nd, try not to miss this interesting event.

"Gauguin the Alchemist" was on exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago from June 25th until September 10th, 2017.
