Until August, 21st, 2017, the Musée de l’Orangerie will be giving you the opportunity to discover the Collection Ishibashi Foundation, one of the world’s largest and most important collections that covers some of the finest Impressionist as well as Western and Japanese works of Modern Art.

Assembled by the Japanese businessman Shōjirō Ishibashi and enriched by the succeeding generations of the Ishibashi industrial dynasty, the collection is made up of more than 2600 works of art including pieces by popular European artists like Monet, Matisse, Picasso, Renoir, and Cézanne.

Japanese Western-style paintings are also among the works on view, in addition to fine Western and Eastern ceramics and sculptures.
If you’re staying at our hotel Monsieur Cadet Hotel & Spa, consider visiting the exhibition before moving back to Tokyo. It’s one of the exhibitions that you should definitely visit this year!
